1 Billion FLR staked!
On February 17th, we finally reached a major goal: surpassing 1 billion staked FLR and during a buy-in staking period no less! This surge was likely influenced by the Flare Fair, which we’ll mention in a second, and the introduction of Cyclo and XDFi, which created compelling use cases for sFLR. This milestone underscores Sceptre's position as the second-largest protocol-holding FLR, and we're now focused on reaching 2 billion FLR!
sFLR on the FTSO
Another major development for Sceptre this month was the addition of a custom sFRL feed to Flare’s FTSO. This has been a long time coming, but had to be first subject to community approval. With this custom feed, protocols can now get reliable pricing for $sFLR, integrate our liquid staking token faster than ever before and use it in more innovative ways. The Flare Fair
Sceptre was at the epicenter of the Flare Fair’s launch on the 7th, the largest event ever on Flare. We hosted a special episode of The Flare Factor featuring an expert panel of guests from several protocols and published two guides to empower users. Part one details the bridging and staking process, while part two lists the opportunities where sFLR holders can maximize rewards. The Flare Fair is currently underway – don't miss out!
The Flare Factor
As usual, we hosted a couple of Flare Factor episodes this month, the first of which was the aforementioned Flare Fair Special, with guests from Flare itself and several participating protocols. Our guests walked us through the ways you can earn rFLR by using their protocols during the event so we highly recommend you to watch or rewatch this episode if you’re looking to take advantage of the rewards that are being distributed during the Flare Fair.
The second episode delivered a memorable introduction of OpenOcean, a DEX aggregator that integrated Flare the very next day. Joining Lex was GuyPolio, who gave us an extensive tour of the many features users can expect from OpenOcean. You can watch it here.
